Mark Dufresne is one of the most sought-after Blues talents in the Northwest, and the guy is even more popular in Europe. Dufresne reformed his band in 2016, bringing back guitarist Billy Stapleton from his original quartet, and ever since, they’ve been one of the best dance bands around. The Washington Blues Society has awarded Mark its “Best Vocalist,” “Best Songwriter,” and “Best Harmonica Performer” prizes more than any other artist. Hands down, one of the best Rhythm-and-Blues outfits on the West Coast—a dancer’s dream!

Blue Healers is a roots music duo that blends folk and blues with atmospheric soundscapes. They were voted Best Duo, Female Vocalist, and New Band in 2024 by the Washington Blues Society and were semi-finalists in the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Their releases include the album ‘Transmissions’ (2023) and the EP ‘Astro Blues’ (2024).
