Alcohol Ink Art Class
The first in a series of what are planned to be monthly community-based art classes was held on Friday, December 3rd and again on the following Friday at the Johnson Farm Chicken Coop #2. Demand for the class was overwhelming with over 40 residents requesting to attend. Between the two sessions a little over half of those who originally requested a spot were accommodated. Taught by local artist Virginia Cummings, the students learned the alcohol ink technique and applied it to ceramic tiles, glass balls and heavy paper.
