Movie Showing, “Fire in Paradise”

The Anderson Island Film Festival showed the PBS Frontline documentary, “Fire in Paradise”, on Saturday, January 18th at the Johnson Farm Archival Building.  Approximately 115 people attended the movie about the Camp Fire, the most deadly and devastating fire in California history.  In addition to the showing of the movie there was a question and answer period afterward that was led by Chief Jim Bixler of the Anderson Island Fire Department and Craig Lohrey of Tanner Electric.

Even though the showing was brought to the island for free by the Film Festival Committee the attendees generously donated $500 which was passed along to the Anderson Island Fire Fighters Association.
